The scope of our activity contains the presence of our employees during the loading / unloading of goods, inspection of cleanliness of vehicles, quantity inspection of goods, professional sampling, issuing an expert opinion on the condition of the goods and reporting to clients about the same, the expert evaluations and damage survey of the goods, inspection during manipulation of goods, delivery samples for analysis in the laboratory.
Croatiakontrola has been granted concession for caring out inspection of quality and quantity of the goods in the port of Rijeka, Split, Zadar, in accordance with the contracts and decisions of the Managing Council of the Port Authorities of Rijeka, Split and Zadar.
Croatiakontrola professionally and technically qualified to control fruit, with special emphasis on the control of bananas, which successfully performed as part of an international system of monitoring the quality of bananas to the prescribed procedure.
Method of inspection and determination of defects are in detail and strictly defined.
Control procedure includes a thorough control of ripe, mechanical and biological damage, the size and juiciness, temperature check, packaging control and label verification - packing code and product code.
Inspection of bananas performed at ship's arrival in the ports, inspection of goods in the vessel’s holds, during the unloading of the vessel / container, at time of warehousing in the frigo-warhouse as well as during shipment.

This area is regulated by the Regulations on the quality of pig section and halves (Official Gazette 2 / 2009) and the Regulations on the quality of cattle sections and halves (Official Gazette 2 / 2009) .

These are products which, due to manner of production andprocessing, tradition and climate from which they come, have aspecial value on the domestic and international markets. Specifiedconduct as an authorized certification body by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, according toCroatian regulations (Act on designations of origin, geographical indications and designations of traditional specialty agriculturalproducts and foodstuffs - NN 84/08, 75/09, 20/10) , which arealigned with EU legislation.
